I debated whether or not to go with something colorful, but first, I looked to see if there was a large king-size duvet available, which is the most important factor. Also, since the air conditioning draft is cold, I looked for a suitable summer duvet rather than one that felt too thin. Because I feel heat on my back, I laid down a cooling mat; although it doesn't show well in the photo, I changed from the existing white cooling mat to a black one and laid it down~~ I changed the pillow covers to black as well! My husband sweats a lot, and since white shows discoloration easily, I was always worried about it when guests came over, even though I washed it frequently.. I am much more satisfied now because it definitely shows dirt and scratches less than all-white..!! It looks like the stripes arrived slightly crooked, but I actually liked it because it added a nice touch haha. When I buy a duvet, I usually turn it around to cover myself. Although it is positioned vertically in the photo, I have to cover it horizontally so that my husband and I can both lie down and fully cover ourselves with the duvet even when we toss and turn..!!
