I think the secret to keeping a child's room tidy is ultimately storage. Toys, educational materials, and small accessories keep piling up, but I discovered an item that creates a neat and organized look just by putting things away. Lately, I've been using Nuage Storage inside my bookshelf. It looks pretty on its own, but using it with a bookshelf makes the space feel much neater.
