🏡 Modern White Interior for a 15-Year-Old, 34-Pyeong Apartment When remodeling this 15-year-old apartment, the most important consideration was creating a **‘home that you won’t get tired of looking at for a long time.’** Rather than following trends, we chose a modern and minimalist design. By unifying the overall tone of the space around white, we created an atmosphere that appears bright and spacious. The key point we focused on while planning the interior was **‘emptying the space.’ We boldly removed unnecessary elements and carefully selected each piece to highlight the inherent cleanliness of the space. ✔️ We used white and light gray as base colors to enhance the sense of unity throughout the space. ✔️ We installed 600x600mm porcelain tiles to minimize grout lines, making the space appear wider and more open. ✔️ We applied a frameless, molding-free design to complete a clean, uncluttered atmosphere. ✔️ We used both recessed and indirect lighting to highlight natural light during the day and a subtle mood at night. ✔️ We planned the space using built-in wardrobes and hidden storage to minimize the feeling of daily life while ensuring the space remains tidy at all times. ✔️ We matched the curtains, blinds, and furniture in white and gray tones to create a sense of overall balance. ✔️ We used black only as an accent where absolutely necessary to make the white interior stand out even more. Above all, our biggest goal for the interior design was to create a home that is comfortable to live in for a long time—rather than just a pretty house—and a space that we won't get tired of over time. I believe that even a 15-year-old apartment can be transformed into a completely new space if small choices come together.
