Creating a Bug- and Odor-Free Kitchen, Even in Summer 🏡 Last summer, fruit flies were a real headache, but this year, I haven't seen a single one. Let me share my management tips! Since we cook every day, the fruit flies' favorite spot was none other than near the kitchen trash can. I couldn't forget the shock of seeing maggots crawling under the trash can after returning from a trip 😅 So this year, I started by thoroughly managing the spots where fruit flies always appeared. ✅ The key is to start by managing hidden blind spots, like the bottom of the trash can. ✅ Once or twice a week, wipe the bottom of the trash can with a paper towel soaked in insecticide. ✅ Put cotton pads soaked in Listerine into the trash can. ✅ Disinfecting the sink with bleach water once a week keeps the drain sparkling clean without needing any separate cleaning! I was able to maintain a pleasant kitchen all summer long just by changing one simple habit.
