#현명한소비 My cherished black long dress lost its color due to a washing mistake ㅠ.ㅠ I should have been more careful, especially in the summer. Since it was made of 100% cotton, I should have washed it very gently with a laundry bag and regular detergent instead of powder. These days, I even see advertisements for detergents specifically designed to wash black clothes more intensely and cleanly. I only just realized that I should buy laundry detergents separately and share them. I bought these black dye sheets out of desperation. They are dye sheets designed to gradually restore color when it fades from black clothes, but I ended up getting some dye on my hands just from touching them. Usually, the correct method is to put the sheets in the washing machine and wash the dress, but hoping my dress would be fully restored, I filled the machine with 40-degree water for three sheets and just rotated them occasionally. It wasn't 100% dyed, but the parts that had become too light definitely regained their dark color, much like how color transfer from one garment to another. They say it won't turn perfectly black in one go, but I plan to run it through the washing machine a few more times with detergent.
