But the oak-toned engineered wood flooring that came standard looked better the more I looked at it, so I decided to just live with it without any renovations! Now, I think I made the right decision. The calm oak tone perfectly anchors the white walls, making the house look incredibly cozy and comfortable. The best advantage is that the color is beautiful—neither too bright nor too dark—so it matches perfectly with any furniture I place there. ✨ Of course, since it is engineered wood, small scratches from daily use are inevitable, though! Sigh... 😂 Still, it's fairly resistant to scratches, and I really love how the warmth lasts for a long time when I turn on the heater in the winter 🔥 It's quite fun decorating while preserving the home's natural, pretty tones without spending a fortune to tear everything down and renovate it. Are there any neighbors out there who, like me, keep the original flooring and live in a cozy, charming space?
