It’s hard to believe it’s already mid-July; time really flies. Our activities as Special Creators for the first half of the year are also coming to a close. Through this special furniture sponsorship, we were gifted Hay's *Result Chair*. Last year, we got the Dark Blue + Black color combination, and this year, we got the Oak + Beige color scheme that I’ve always wanted. The leg color is actually closer to gray, which is why I like it even more. I feel so happy whenever I see the cheerful Oak and the accenting Blue! With a design that is both casual and classic, it seems to liven up the atmosphere of the space whether used at the dining table or at the desk, and it matches my home so well that I excitedly took some photos :) I think it would be difficult to match furniture to suit 100 homes without an extraordinary amount of affection. I would like to express my gratitude to the hosts who made it possible for us to document our spaces with these special pieces of furniture! This is something I always feel while documenting and participating on Today's House. It really resonates with me that it is not just a platform for recording, but a place where I feel respected and thoughtfully cared for as a person. It is thanks to Today's House that we, who are usually reserved, have been able to express ourselves, communicate, and dream of the future through our home. In these times when trends change so quickly, I often think about acquiring pieces of furniture that I can cherish for a lifetime and grow old with.
