The conclusion is “Yes, you can!” I was really flustered when I put a ton of watermelon rinds in and they became all mushy the next day 🥲🥲 Just press the dehumidification mode, don't feed it any food waste, and leave it for 2-3 days. Then, the humidity gradually decreases, and it returns to its original state. The watermelon rinds turn into that single sheet of paper shown in the picture. Just scoop out the soil into a bag and throw it away once every 3 months, and you're done. I think it's good soil, so I throw it away in a secluded corner of the apartment flowerbed.
