It’s okay if it’s small—my own home office pretending to be minimal. I decorated it in a way that breathes life into a space that could otherwise be bland by maintaining a clean look with white while adding black accents. The key point is to keep the desk surface as empty as possible by placing storage boxes under it. I found that keeping items out of sight definitely makes the space look more spacious. Although I used white furniture overall, I balanced the center of gravity of the space by appropriately mixing in black elements such as the floor rug, wall accessories, and chair.
