Named "Baekmyoguk" because of its white and mysterious leaves, I was drawn to that mystique... In August 2024, I sowed seeds and started growing it. Before I knew it, it has been nearly two full years. I found that to maintain the attractive silver sheen of its pure white, velvety leaves covered in soft downy hairs, it needs to be kept in strong sunlight for about six hours. The fine white hairs covering the entire leaf reflect light, and it is said that these hairs act as a scientific defense mechanism to protect the plant from strong sunlight and prevent water evaporation. Although the Baekmyoguk is known for its attractive leaves, I heard that it also blooms with yellow flowers from June to September... I wonder if I will be able to see them this year, its second year~~ Since it is only July, I guess I should look forward to it😆🌼🌼 In flower arrangements, the Baekmyoguk plays a supporting role that makes the main character shine.
