(Save for now) 10 things you absolutely didn't know before ordering a ceiling fan I documented the DIY installation of our ceiling fan a year ago! Honestly, I thought, "Once I install a ceiling fan, that'll be it," but absolutely not! If you think that way, you'll be in for a rude awakening 🥹 I organized everything step-by-step from STEP 1 to 10 - • My husband did the entire DIY installation himself, from start to finish. After installing the living room ceiling fan and downlights, he did the same for the remaining three rooms. What a tenacious person… 🤫 This is just a record of the process carried out according to the method my husband devised himself, so it is difficult to say that this sequence and method are the definitive answer. There are definitely better methods or other installation techniques out there! Anyway! Time has passed, a year has gone by, and summer has returned. We are still using both the ceiling fan and downlights without any issues.
