I’ve found that emptying out makes the house look prettier than filling it up! Since I have a child, toys and household items keep piling up. Instead of bringing in more pretty decorative items, I started by reducing the visible clutter first. There are exactly three criteria I pay attention to when organizing my home: ✔️ Keep only frequently used items out in the open ✔️ Store items of the same type together in one place ✔️ Hide items that show signs of daily use as much as possible Just following these three things makes the house look much more organized and makes cleaning much easier. While parenting, it is difficult to keep everything perfectly organized every day, but I’ve come to realize that creating an environment that doesn’t get messy in the first place is far more important.
