The Vitra Panton Chair, which I had always wanted to bring into my home after seeing it only in photos! Thanks to my activity as a Special Creator for Today's House, I had the opportunity to try it out myself. 😊 I was always curious about how practical a design chair would be in real-world use, given how beautiful they are. But once I actually placed it in my home, I understood why it has been a beloved chair for so long. The blue color I received this time felt a bit unfamiliar at first because the hue was stronger than I expected. However, after spending a few days with it, it naturally blended into my home. It has a distinct presence without overwhelming the space, and instead, it became a focal point that drew the eye! Also, the silhouette of the lines is beautiful from every angle, filling the space like a workpiece even when not in use—I realized it’s not a chair that has been loved as a design icon for so long for nothing. I wondered if I might have to compromise on comfort since it is a design chair, but it was more stable than I expected. It blended naturally whether placed at the dining table, in a workspace, or in a corner of the living room, so I have to give it credit for its versatility! It was an even more delightful time because I was able to personally experience the design furniture I’ve always loved in my own space.
