I think every home has at least one piece of furniture that serves as a reason to linger, rather than just being pretty. The HAY Slit Table, which we got to share this time, has become that kind of presence in our home. Whether it's the moment I drink a cup of coffee while watching TV, or the time I read a book with the kids before bed, I really loved how it quietly filled a corner of the space.
