A home is remembered by its light before its furniture. That is why I consider lighting not merely as a tool to illuminate, but as a prop that creates a flow within the space. Depending on the angle at which it shines on the wall, the spot where the gaze rests changes, and the same object takes on a completely different expression. Therefore, when decorating a space, I think about where the light will settle first, rather than placing furniture first. In the bathroom, it creates a time to slowly wrap up the day; In a workspace, it focuses the gaze on a single object; On an empty wall, the blank space itself becomes a scene. I believe lighting is not a prop that fills the space, but a prop that empties it.
