A space is not filled with objects, but is completed by deciding what to leave empty. I use props not merely as decorations, but as tools to breathe life into a space. A single stone, a single dry branch, a single small vase. Natural objects do not grab the eye immediately, but rather make it linger for a moment. When encountered in an empty space, small objects appear larger, and the space feels deeper.
