Wait, this actually works? 👀 If I had to choose just one chore I hate doing the most in the summer, it would definitely be taking out the food waste… 🥲 If I put it off for even a little while, the smell starts to rise and fruit flies appear. I really hate carrying a bag that leaks liquid while riding the elevator, lol. But leaving it in the freezer feels a bit gross, too.. 🤯 I use a built-in food waste disposer at home, but installation is difficult at the office, so I had to dispose of it manually every time. I cook quite often, so I generate a fair amount of food waste, and in the summer, the smell and fruit flies were truly tormenting. 🥲 So last year, I bought a Shelfer for the office with my own money. It doesn't just grind with blades; the enzyme breaks it down along with the blades, reducing the problem of food sticking hard to the bottom of the container. You don't need to add Answer every time; you just need to add it on days when you've thoroughly cleaned the refrigerator or when you're processing a large amount of carbohydrate- and dietary fiber-rich food all at once. Regular food waste grinds well and comes out nice and dry even without the Answer button, haha. After processing, the volume is reduced by up to 95%, and since it even automatically cleans with just one button, I have significantly less to struggle with the container after use. After using it, I really liked these features! ✅ With a massive 5.5L capacity, I can process a generous amount in one go, even on days when there is a lot of food waste. (Once you actually use a food waste disposer, having a large capacity is the most convenient 😉) ✅ The grinding power is strong enough to grind everything from chicken bones to clam and crab shells🔥 (Although the grinding power is sufficient to grind everything, I recommend disposing of them separately as general waste!) ✅ Even if more food waste accumulates while it is running, simply open the lid to add it, and it will automatically resume operation. ✅ The dedicated Answer button helps break down foods that tend to clump, such as rice, rice cakes, and soup, reducing worries about sticking. ✅ It reduces the volume by up to 95% after processing, decreasing the frequency of disposing of food waste, ✅ Finally, it automatically cleans with just one button, making maintenance really convenient! ✅ The after-sales service is also impeccable; they provide a loaner unit for free during the repair period, and the repairs are incredibly fast! It sold out in its first batch as soon as it was released this year, but we managed to bring it back in at a price in the mid-300,000 won range by negotiating directly with the headquarters for restocking!! Honestly, since food waste disposers are appliances used every day, even if a few features are great, they eventually become a burden if maintenance is a hassle, right? lol.
