My first child's room started with just a single crib. I wanted to decorate it nicely with all sorts of things, but the reality was that when they were a newborn, we lived without putting anything on the bed.🤣 By the time they started using a bumper bed, they became more active and even spent time in the living room. As they grew older and their toys started piling up one by one, the furniture and layout needed for the baby room kept changing.🥺 What I realized after decorating and rearranging it myself over the past four years is that you don't need to make a baby room look finished from the start! If you are decorating a baby's room for the first time, rather than filling it with everything from the start, I recommend filling it one by one, starting with what is needed as your child grows.
