A mission to uncover tastes I hadn't yet revealed. I never dreamed that a project that initially felt like nothing but a difficult homework assignment would turn into such a precious time to discover the hidden tastes within me. I blended the Eastern aesthetic, which I used to view with vague awe, with my affection for the charming and cute things I had kept hidden away because I liked them but felt they didn't fit in my current modern space. As a result, the beauty of the East, reinterpreted through a lovely gaze, was able to be born in a friendly form 🤍 Perhaps I had been drawing a line at ‘one taste’ simply because I had found it with difficulty, and I had been trapping myself within it. Eastern beauty and cuteness, tradition and everyday life, unfamiliarity and familiarity. This work was also a process of erasing that line a little. I hope this cup serves as a small catalyst for someone to take a look at the ‘taste they liked but hesitated to explore.’ You can see this cup in person through online and offline exhibitions 😉 Coming Soon! 〈93 cups, 93 stories〉 - A cup of taste brought out on a whim * Date: Aug. 1 (Sat) ~ Aug. 16 (Sun), 2026 * Location: 1F, OZIP Bukchon & @93cups93stories * Online Voting: https://ozip.me/hnwGutL?af #TasteBroughtOutOnSuddenly {0 #93cups93stories} {1 #OZIP} {2 #SpecialCreator} {3 #OZIPCreator} {4 #IDO} {5 #IDOCeramics}
