Although we do not yet know each other's faces or voices, we are already in love. When I was proposed for the Today's House <93 cups, 93 stories - Tastes I Suddenly Revealed> project, the first thing that came to mind was my first meeting with my soon-to-be-born baby. The tiny fingers that looked as if they were made of a bunch of grapes, The waveform of the tiny heart I saw for the first time, The cute two legs I lifted up one day. I thought the first meeting with the baby was the moment of childbirth, but every day leading up to the birth was already time we spent together. The design on the cup, created by connecting those moments one by one, has also taken on a new shape, slightly different from my previous tastes. It contains new tastes, a new family, and the new form of love that begins in this way. That is why I named this Today's House Special Creator × IDO Ceramics collaboration cup <First Meeting Before Birth, You Are My Love Too>. A cup used every day. Therefore, I recorded my new tastes and love on an object that holds my daily life. — In this exhibition, "93 cups, 93 stories - Tastes Revealed on a Spontaneous Moment," 93 creators, including myself, have captured their individual tastes and stories in a single cup. As this exhibition begins with the same cup but contains unique stories, I hope you take your time browsing and find a cup that lingers in your heart.
