However, I found that items that produce ethylene gas, like bananas, would release the gas even while vacuumed, causing the vacuum to break. In fact, the gas trapped inside actually made the bananas go bad faster😂 Also, for vegetables with strong scents like *Saposhnikovia divaricata* and perilla leaves, the smell didn't go away easily even after washing the packs multiple times😭 For fruits, vacuuming too tightly can compress the damaged areas, potentially worsening their condition, so I recommend vacuuming with moderate pressure. The advantage is that the volume shrinks after vacuuming, making them easy to store. In particular, if you vacuum seal items like shiitake mushrooms with some space between them and stack them neatly in the freezer for storage, it is convenient to use.
