The one-of-a-kind ceramic cup I drew with my own hands has finally arrived! 🤎 A project featuring 93 special creators from Today's House, 〈93 cups, 93 stories〉 - A taste I suddenly brought out I joined the project too 🥹 Actually, completing this single cup involved a really intense and agonizing time for me 😮‍💨 It had been so long since I properly drew on paper since graduating high school, so when I first faced the design, I honestly couldn't bring myself to do it and was suddenly terrified. I thought my 'taste' was clearly distinct, but when I actually tried to visualize the taste I had kept in my heart—something I really wanted to try at least once—into a concrete form, my mind went blank. I wondered how I should draw to fully capture my heart, so I drew and erased countless times, and it took a really long time to complete this cup (But, so simple 🙄). Although I usually live as a maximalist, there is a part of me inside that is sometimes simple I often dream of the minimalist neatness that lines and shapes provide. With that sentiment in mind, I tried to express it through 'five circles' that resemble our family of five, each with its own unique shape. Just as circles of different shapes come together to eventually form a complete whole, I hope this cup, which I filled with my own hands despite my clumsiness, reaches you all with warm empathy. 😇 Online and offline voting will begin soon!
