〈93 cups, 93 stories〉 A cup of taste I suddenly brought out My taste that I haven't usually shown, but which has lingered in my heart for a long time I have captured the stories of my private tastes on an IDO cup! ‘A vivid color added for the first time over familiar neutrals’ I have always preferred calm and stable colors, such as beige, black, and neutral tones, but deep down, I had long harbored a desire to boldly use vivid colors at least once. I preserved the natural ivory base of the porcelain and placed an intense red at the center, a color I wouldn't normally choose easily. The two black lines crossing the cup represent my tastes and standards that I have maintained for a long time, and the direction I will continue to take in the future. The red color in the center represents an unfamiliar color entering between familiar standards for the first time, and the courage to embrace new attempts! The chunks of neutral colors placed here and there are fragments of the taste that have long stayed in my heart. Just as large and small pieces are slowly placed on the blank space, I wanted to capture the story of how I, too, am gradually embracing new colors within my familiar tastes.
