The master bedroom is our little sanctuary. 🤍 It is a space where we unwind and rest after putting the kids to bed, and also where we secretly eat late-night snacks while watching TV. We switched from the queen-size bed we had used since our honeymoon to a large king-size bed because it started feeling a bit cramped as our child would often wake up in the middle of the night and come over to the master bedroom to look for Mom. We also chose a low-profile frame that is good for sharing with our child. However, the corners of the bed turned out to be more dangerous than I thought. 😅 So, for our rambunctious Yumaeng, we are using soft safety guards attached to the bed. While design used to be our priority, safety has become more important now. The TV, which was banished from the living room to the master bedroom after the baby was born, is now being used on a wheeled stand. I chose it because it is movable, wondering if I might bring it back to the living room someday... but once I actually installed it, it was heavier than I expected, so once it was set up, I have mostly been using it exactly where it is. Still, I am satisfied with the fact that it slides smoothly and doesn't require drilling holes in the wall. **The master bedroom** The space inside the master bedroom was originally a small dressing room with a built-in wardrobe that I had contracted for as an optional extra, but I boldly tore it down and turned it into a home office. I am making really good use of it as a space where I can work quietly after putting the child to sleep. Since there are a lot of computers and wires, I also installed a door lock to keep Yumaeng out of the way.
