But deep down, I have always yearned for the traditional beauty of Korea, where tranquility and negative space are alive... ✴︎ Also, I like things that express a wish for love, peace, and happiness. With that sentiment in mind, From the Sotsdae connecting to the heavens to pray for well-being, to the Jangseung and Haetae repelling evil spirits, to the stone towers built one by one to hold wishes, and even the Japsang that guarded the palace Taking the small wishes and beliefs our ancestors placed in various places as motifs, I stripped away the vibrant colors and depicted symbols of protection using only black and white. By emptying within a space filled with fullness, I have created a place for the mind to rest ⊹·⊹ I have decided to name this cup the ‘Suho Cup’!
