You can find 93 cups created by Today's House, IDO Ceramics, and our special creators starting in August! I’d like to briefly share some thoughts I had while working on this collaboration. I used to be the type of person who felt I had to present only neat and tidy appearances, so I was always quick to hide things if they were even slightly off or didn't meet my standards. When Today's House announced they were collaborating with IDO Ceramics to design cups, I was genuinely thrilled! However, lacking confidence, I debated whether I should even do it or not. Then, thinking "I just need to do it well!", I decided to give it a try. But as usual, I just stared at a blank sheet of paper for days until the final day arrived... I wondered if I should ask an AI to draw the sketches for me, or if I should just not submit it—but in the end, I just randomly scribbled dots and lines all over the surface of the cup. I picked out two of my favorite colors. As the saying goes, "the interpretation is more important than the dream," so when I submitted the final design and story, I feel like I wrote something that sounded cool, though I honestly don't remember it very well. (I guess I'll have to go to the exhibition to double-check...) Anyway, thanks to the theme of the ‘unfamiliar’ rather than the familiar, I was able to recall the dreams I had kept in my heart, and I realized that for me, they represent ‘free-spiritedness.’ The very act of having these unfamiliar thoughts was a precious time for me, and I think I was able to have that time thanks to the Today's House Special Creators. The cup that arrived at my house after a month and a half contained the me from that time, freely scribbling. Finding meaning in the completion rather than the finished product(?), I think I should recall that moment often whenever I look at it. Haha. Also, I think the biggest fun of this project (in my opinion) is looking at other people's cups. I couldn't comment on every single one, but I’ve had fun these past few days seeing how they captured unfamiliar things on their cups that were so different from the images I usually see. How can such different looks emerge from the same background! Looking at other people's cups is just as fun as looking at other people's homes 🤗 They say there will be an exhibition in Bukchon starting August 1st and online voting as well, so if you have the time, go check it out! 〈93 cups, 93 stories〉 - Tastes I Suddenly Revealed ✔️ Offline Exhibition Aug. 1 (Sat) ~ August 16 (Sun), 2026 11, Bukchon-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul (O-House Bukchon 1F) ✔️ Online Voting Held on the @93cups93stories account (They say there are lots of events too!) @ohouse_creator #TastesISuddenlyRevealed {0 #93cups93stories} {1 #O-House} {2 #O-HouseCreator} {3 #SpecialCreator} {4 #IDO} {5 #IDOCeramics}
