While working as a Today's House #스페셜크리에이터, I received a fun yet challenging assignment..🗯️ To capture an unfamiliar side of myself in a cup.ᐟ I pondered what that unfamiliar side of me might be. When I record things, I usually end up sharing the final product. However, I believe the process in between definitely holds value as well. As I thought about how I could engrave the ‘value of the process’ onto this cup, my favorite fruit, the peach, suddenly came to mind. So, I drew the process of eating a peach. *I got the idea from the phases of the moon. (🌑🌘 🌗 🌖 🌕 🌔 🌓 🌒🌑) The flat drawing depicts the process of a peach disappearing bite by bite and turning into a seed, but the moment it is made into a cup, it becomes another beginning where a peach grows again from the seed.😀 It is a story where the end and the beginning connect in that way. The process becomes another fruit... right? When I look at this cup later, I think I’ll remember this moment of intense contemplation during peach season as well🍑💭 — 〈93 cups, 93 stories〉 A taste I suddenly brought out ☕️ An exhibition is opening where you can see 93 cups, each created by 93 creators reflecting their individual tastes, all in one place. I’m participating as well, so I’d like to introduce it to you!♥️ 🗓️ Exhibition Period August 1 (Sat) ~ August 16 (Sun), 2026 11 AM ~ 7 PM 🎪 Location 1F, Today's House Bukchon 11 Bukchon-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul ⁕ Walk-in admission is available without prior reservation ⁕ You can also purchase the 93 cups on-site ─ 🗳️ Voting will be held online and offline during the exhibition period.
