The space in my house that feels most like me is the kitchen.🤍 It is where I brew coffee in the morning, prepare snacks for the kids, cook dinner, and clean up. Interestingly, I feel like I can see my mood for the day just by looking at the state of the kitchen. On days when it is neatly organized, my mind feels much lighter, but on days when I am tired, the kitchen gets messy along with it. Still, as I tidy things up one by one and cook the food I love, I feel like my mood and mind are settling down.
