A Reading Hideout in a Child's Room Created Without Built-in Wardrobes 🤍 I spaced out the two existing tall bookshelves and placed a storage bench in the middle to create a small hideout just for Yuan. Since the room felt a bit cold due to the abundance of white furniture, I applied soft sage-colored adhesive film to the bottom of the bookshelves and the storage bench. I added a sky-blue fine-stripe cushion to the bench and completed the cozy atmosphere with a handmade bluebird poster and a fabric awning. Without bringing in a lot of new furniture, simply changing the arrangement and colors of the existing pieces transformed a corner of the child's room from an ordinary space into a comfortable area for reading.
