In older apartments, keep your eyes peeled for the manifold immediately after demolition. Catching the issue before the finishing materials are applied is the way to save money! Whether it was fortunate or unfortunate, we discovered the veranda leak because it rained heavily on the day of demolition. After the site manager inspected it, he said it seemed to be a problem with the aging caulking on the window frames, so we decided to repair only that part. If you are not replacing your window frames, be sure to check the caulking as well ✔️ 3️⃣ You won't know until you take a look at the electricity/internet It is said that older apartments often require expansion or relocation work because the terminal boxes are small or the communication lines are old. Get an inspection from your internet provider in advance (we got ours checked in advance too!).
