#콘수프기록집 #인테리어노하우 2 One element I really wanted to incorporate while decorating was an arched doorway, haha. It seems like the trend has passed now, though (?) Back in my day~ hehe. The rounded arch gives the space a soft feel, and I liked the cozy atmosphere it created! I removed the door connecting the study to the kitchen and replaced it with an open arched gate, and transformed the wall connecting the bedroom to the powder room into an arched wall by adding carpentry work. I also removed the spot where the TV stand used to be and added rounded corners to the outer edge of the wall. After creating the arched gate, I chose a walnut-colored film for the inside, and it feels like it connects seamlessly with the kitchen countertop! (Younglim Natural Brown) I wouldn't have even dared to attempt this if there hadn't been any carpentry work involved. Since I had to rebuild the living room coffered ceiling and redo the electrical work, I decided to give it a try since the carpentry work was necessary anyway, and I am very satisfied.
