#리모델링하다생긴일 #주방인테리어 #주방리모델링 #주방꾸미기 🧱 Things Happened During Remodeling: The Day I Broke a Cold Sweat Because of a Single Tile “You just need to order the tiles two days in advance.” Since the store told me that, I was proceeding with the remodeling very peacefully.😌 But when I called to order the tiles… “Customer, that tile is currently sold out nationwide.” … … What? 🙂 Just a moment. It turned out that the tiles I had chosen were imported from Italy, and that it would take about two months for new stock to arrive as it would be shipped by sea. The problem was that my kitchen had a structure without upper cabinets. We needed the tile installation to be finished before we could proceed with the wallpapering above it. If there were no tiles, 👉 No tiles 👉 No wallpapering 👉 Can't proceed to the next stage 👉 The entire schedule gets pushed back. Suddenly, a picture of the entire remodeling schedule collapsing one after another formed in my mind. 😂 That is when it all began. Calling tile suppliers. One place, two places… Ten places… And then another call… “Do you happen to have that tile left?” “Could you check the stock in your warehouse?” “Could you check warehouses in other regions as well?” I really called dozens of companies just to find a single tile. 😂 And finally… “We have a few left in our warehouse.” 🎉🎉🎉 You have no idea how relieved I was at that moment. In the end, we barely managed to secure the remaining stock in the warehouse and had it delivered, and fortunately, we were able to get through the construction without the schedule getting significantly messed up. Through this experience, I realized something. I realized that semi-DIY interior decorating doesn't end with just choosing pretty materials. ✔️ Check stock ✔️ Check delivery schedules ✔️ Check the order of work ✔️ And… even a Plan B just in case! Especially with imported tiles or custom-made materials, the mindset of "I'll just order when I need it" was absolutely not the answer. 😂 I can laugh about it now, but at the time, it was a truly nerve-wracking experience. To those of you doing semi-DIY, please, please check your materials well in advance…! 🙏🏻😂
