For my children, rather than just the habit of keeping books close, I wanted to create a landscape where books are always by their side. I didn't place a bookshelf that completely filled an entire wall from the start. I felt that a space packed without any empty space would actually feel like a burden to read. I left a little space open and placed books at a height where they could naturally reach. I want books not to be a subject of 'study,' but something you can suddenly pick up and read while sitting on the sofa or going to get a drink of water. The bookshelf in our home is not furniture meant to hold a lot of books, but a space designed to naturally live with them. Today, I record the space where my heart lingers. 🌿
