Before the bathtub was installed, I requested a design where a platform would be built in front of the tub to allow the glass partition to sit on top. Since this is a space exposed to water, I wanted the finish to look clean, and I considered it a crucial element that determines the overall quality of the bathroom. However, when I visited the site after the construction, it looked different from what I had anticipated. The front of the bathtub and the tiles were aligned 1:1, resulting in a structure where the glass partition was installed directly on top of the tub. This was different from the finishing method I had wanted. After verifying the situation, I spoke with the construction team again, and it turned out that there was a difference in our intended construction methods. I thought I had conveyed my request, but ultimately, there was a misunderstanding during the communication process. In the end, we had to remove the already installed tiles, build a platform in front of the bathtub, and reinstall the glass partition so it would sit on top of it. Although it was a cumbersome process, it is now finished exactly as I originally wanted, and I am satisfied every time I look at it. What I realized once again through this experience is that remodeling is not completed solely through blueprints and words; it is truly important to personally inspect the site during the construction process.
