#콘수프기록집 #리모델링하다생긴일 I proceeded with remodeling last year when I moved in. It wasn't a turnkey project, but a DIY one. Since I had to do it while juggling work and childcare, I have memories of how incredibly difficult it was... 🥲 First, the despairing part. The existing apartment was a brand-new building, just a little over a year old. It was clean, but generally dark, so I intended to fix just parts of it, but ended up doing the whole thing. The kitchen had dark engineered stone walls and mirror doors. I looked into film and overlaying the film, but the prices turned out to be higher than I expected. To do the overlay, I would have had to remove the upper cabinets, and there was no guarantee that the new film would be applied properly. Also, since the doors were glass, the problem was that the film lines would still remain. First, I looked into just replacing the doors and countertops, but the price was almost equivalent to buying a brand new set. After asking around, I found a second company. Things were going well up to this point, but because my pre-planned schedule was tight, I couldn't coordinate the time with the demolition company. In the end, my husband and even his friend's younger brother came over to do the demolition... 😱 We started by taking out the doors and lifted them out one by one. Since the countertops were engineered stone, they were really heavy, but when I stepped on them, they actually cracked! It took almost two hours to finish the demolition ourselves, and we were able to continue with the other processes the next day without any issues. I really wanted to demolish the walls too, but since drywall work was required, we kept those sections and finished them off with a film overlay. Oh! We also handled the disposal ourselves. I looked up a nearby waste disposal site, and luckily, since I have a Carnival, I loaded everything myself and threw it away. I saved about 20,000 won to cover labor costs plus waste disposal fees!! If you're planning on demolition, you absolutely must do it during the full demolition on the first day. If not... I think film overlaying is the next best option. ✅️ Three adults can demolish a 34-pyeong kitchen! ✅️ Three adults must be very cooperative! ✅️✅️ Make sure your plan is solid!!!🥲 #Remodeling #주방리모델링 #셀프인테레어 #주방꾸미기 #SelfInterior #신축아파트인테리어
