The Ilkwang Light Snowman floor lamp I bought 4 years ago didn't quite match my current aesthetic, so I ended up hiding it away. It felt like too good to throw away, but I still really liked the Snowman shade, so I decided to transform it into a setup with two lamps: one round light like the IKEA Wave lamp, and one lamp where I simply swapped the shade. :) Since it's a cordless light, you can just place it anywhere to set the mood, and the paper-textured shade matches the current living room vibe perfectly. (Of course, since they aren't from the same brand, the shade doesn't stay firmly in place.🤣) I plan to upgrade if I find a better way to secure it while using it!
