My boyfriend visits often, and friends frequently stay overnight, but the bed was too narrow, so it was difficult. So, we finally changed the mattress size—which my boyfriend had been nagging me to change for a long time! Although I liked the thick and cozy existing bed frame, I wanted to try a low-profile design to make the space look more open, so I took this opportunity to replace the frame with a lower one as well!
