Choosing small, intricate appliances for a new home is actually a bit of a headache compared to buying large ones, isn't it? 🫠 I’ve compiled a list of 5 genuine appliances that have settled into a corner of our newlywed kitchen and are working every day. These are the survival items that survived after I got rid of everything that was just pretty but unused. 1️⃣ LG PuriCare Water Purifier 💧 Pretty things are nice, but the rotating faucet is really convenient for everyday life. It’s great because I don’t have to hold it at an angle when filling heavy pots or tall water bottles. 2️⃣ Ninja Chopper 🧄 The chopping performance is solid, but the long power cord is a real downside. I hate seeing it dangling, so I’ve attached a clip to the back of the main unit to secure the cord while using it. (Check out the video for a tip on cord management!) 3️⃣ AGK Swing Electric Vegetable Slicer 🥕 I bought this because I was scared after getting seriously injured using a regular slicer early in my marriage. A lifesaver that cured my ER trauma 😭 I miss it when I don't have it when portioning out ingredients on weekends. 4️⃣ Vitamix Blender 🍹 I hesitated for a long time because it was expensive, but I compromised on a budget-friendly model. It grinds so smoothly every time I make smoothies on weekend mornings, so I feel like it's worth the money. 5️⃣ Originalique Grinder 🧂 I got this because I was really into cooking, and it's surprisingly convenient. It's the most practical thing because you don't need to put batteries in each spice container; You just charge one body and can rotate between multiple containers. I think the best appliances are always the ones that fit your lifestyle.
