#리모델링하다생긴일 If you just blindly trust the contractor during construction, things can go terribly wrong.. 😂 Besides the air conditioner, I also had a mistake/incident with the refrigerator cabinet and built-in wardrobe installations.. 🥲 So, I’m going to share the •great tips• I learned for monitoring(?) the day before and the day of construction•. 1. Check the items to be installed/materials (product part numbers, etc.) ✅ Since there are occasional cases where they install an older model that differs from what was verbally agreed upon, reconfirming is essential. ✅ For solid wood installations like refrigerator cabinets and built-in wardrobes, check the materials, handle colors, etc., and also check the installation method!! 2. Always Verify Installation Location Before Construction ✅ For air conditioners, it is essential to verify the installation location based on the apartment size (please do not drill into the ceiling incorrectly like in my house^^). ✅ For lighting, it is also essential to verify the lighting location. ✅ For refrigerator cabinets and built-in wardrobes, verify the left/right installation position and the door position. 3. Mandatorily Request Floor Protection Work ✅ Usually, when the keys are issued, a set period (within 7 days in our apartment) is provided for requesting floor defect repairs. However, even if defects are discovered after that period has passed, they are often treated as "daily life defects" and repair work will not be performed❌. ✅ Therefore, please make sure to mention floor protection work as the first step!! 4. Be sure to record videos or take photos of the floor and door frames before construction‼️ ✅ This is for the same reason as item 3. Even if floor protection work has been done, it may not be perfect. In particular, door frames are prone to dents when moving items, so I recommend going there the evening before construction to record a video! The payment processing methods for construction work usually proceed like this: 1. Partial down payment followed by the balance payment 2. Complete post-payment system Because companies at homeowner fairs handle such large-scale contracts, they sometimes cannot provide personalized check-ins for each individual.
