Since I'm a newlywed, even if I cook a small amount of rice, there's always leftover. Keeping it warm causes the rice to turn yellow, so I bought these to store in the freezer and reheat later. I decided to buy a steamer as well since I was buying rice bowls, and I'm finding them very useful when making steamed eggs. Actually, I think I would have found them useful even if I weren't a newlywed but living alone!!
