The hose on the cleaning gun installed when I moved in was quite long, so even when hung on a hook, part of the hose would touch the floor. I was always bothered by it touching the floor, but it was especially inconvenient that the hose would get wet along with the floor every time I washed the bathroom. I was worried that if it kept touching the floor and getting wet, limescale might build up between the fibers of the hose, so I switched to a coiled hose immediately after moving in. The coiled type stays coiled short when not in use so it doesn't touch the floor, but you can extend it fully as needed for cleaning. Since it retracts after use, there is no need to organize a long hose separately. It is a really minor change, but since the hose doesn't drag on the floor when washing, both cleaning and maintenance have become much easier.
