#중문시공이야기 We installed a single swing door for the interior of our home. I really agonized over choosing the interior door while doing the interior renovation. From the design and film color to whether to choose a hinged or sliding door, I looked into every single detail, and I think I searched Today's House a lot as well. I considered doors with wooden slats and frosted glass until the very end because they looked pretty, but in the end, I decided on the simplest option: a white frame and clear glass. Actually, the interior design company included the interior door as a service item, so we went with the basic design. 😂 However, I wanted translucent glass, so I requested that. But when I went home after the construction was finished, lo and behold... clear glass had been installed. At first, I considered switching it back to translucent glass, but once I actually saw it, the clear glass looked much cleaner than I expected and matched the atmosphere of the house well, so I'm just using it as is. And after actually using it, I found that the interior door is helpful in many ways, more than I expected. In the summer, it acts as an extra barrier against the hot air coming in when the front door is opened, helping to maintain the cooling. You can even feel the temperature difference between the entrance and the living room just by opening the middle door. I am also quite satisfied with how it blocks dust from entering through the front door. However, there is a separate reason why I like the middle door the most. When I return home, the children peek their heads over the middle door to greet me, and they look so incredibly cute. 🥹 Since it is made of transparent glass, I can see the children clearly from inside the house, so now I actually think I made the right choice going with transparent glass.
