This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. I have gone through several irons at home, ranging from stand-type steam irons to standard flat irons, but in the end, this is the one I reach for most often. First off, the design is clean and pretty, so it is great to just leave it out in the dressing room and use it. Let me summarize a few of the things I was most satisfied with while using this product. 1. Lightweight design and comfortable grip that reduces strain on the wrist At first, I assumed it would be light since it weighed 800g, but when I actually held and ironed with it, the fatigue in my wrist was truly minimal. With my old steam iron, my wrist would ache after ironing just two shirts, but perhaps thanks to the comfortable grip of this one, I could iron multiple shirts in a row without any strain. 2. The stroke of genius: the 90-degree rotating head This feature is seriously incredibly convenient. When ironing narrow areas like shirt collars or between buttons, simply rotate the head vertically and glide it over; for larger areas like t-shirts or backs, rotate it horizontally and glide it through in one go to finish. Since there is no need to forcefully twist your wrist to align the direction, the ironing speed has doubled. 3. Fabric-Matching Vacuum Suction Mode You know how you're always worried about wrinkles or damage when ironing thin chiffon dresses or silk blouses? If you set it to Level 1 Delicate Garment mode, it neatly smooths out wrinkles without damaging the fabric. For wrinkles on your husband's thick suit jacket or winter coat, set it to Level 2 Power Fixed and glide it over; the steam penetrates deep, restoring the crispness as if you had it dry-cleaned. With 236 suction holes adhering tightly without any gaps, it maintains sharp creases without any lifting. 4. Ultra-fast 30-second preheating and smart safety features It’s a nightmare to discover wrinkled clothes during morning rush hour or before the kids go to school, but with this, 145-degree high-temperature steam comes out in bursts just about 30 seconds after you turn it on. Since you can use it immediately without waiting, it’s a lifesaver on busy mornings. Plus, there’s an overheating protection system that automatically shuts off if it remains inactive for 12 minutes, just in case you forget to turn it off when you go out. For someone as clumsy as me, this safety feature was a stroke of genius. 5. Hygienic metal mesh filter and sterilization effect You know how steam irons can get greasy and feel unpleasant after prolonged use? With this, you don't need to replace the filter; you can simply pull out the metal mesh filter and wash it with water, so it feels so refreshing to keep it permanently clean. Since it claims 99.9% sterilization and deodorization, I find it very useful, giving not only clothes but also the kids' dolls, bedding, and fabric sofas a good steam run from time to time. It is often a dilemma figuring out where to put the iron while it cools down after ironing, but since this has a dedicated stand, you can simply place it down as soon as you are finished, keeping the finish neat and tidy. It is lightweight, irons well, and is even safe, making it an item I highly recommend as a housewarming gift for friends and acquaintances.
