When decorating my home, I tend to focus on varying materials and forms rather than using a lot of color. Even within similar tones like white and gray, mixing materials with different textures—such as fabric, stone, and metal—and adding curves or sculptural objects between linear furniture prevents the space from feeling monotonous, even without many colors.
