#리모델링하다생긴일 I decided to do a full renovation of an older apartment building, so there were many things to worry about and learn, but I assumed I could just leave the lighting to the professionals. However, after the construction, I realized that lighting accounted for a large portion of my regrets. Since it was electrical work, it couldn't be undone... So, after studying hard, I ordered this part myself, one by one. I didn't even know what recessed lights were, but they told me that even if it was expensive, they looked prettier and I should invest the money. So I spoke to the contractor and even sent them the website myself. The day before construction... *Drumroll* My apartment is on the 11th floor, you know? But in older buildings, I think the ceiling height is only up to the 14th floor? They told me the ceiling height is low. But since recessed lights are tall, they said installation was impossible due to a difference of just a few millimeters😭 So, I had no choice but to use standard downlights, and only used recessed lights in two spots on the bathroom ceiling where I never look up... The 3rd and 4th photos show the standard ones, and the 5th and 6th photos show the recessed ones. I don't usually pay attention to it. I mean, who lives looking up at the ceiling every day? But seeing the two together, the recessed ones definitely look much prettier...
