I absolutely wanted a single-sliding door for the middle door. However, there wasn't enough wall space for the sliding door, so we actually built a partition wall at the existing entrance to create enough space for the door to open. We installed an automatic middle door, and I am very satisfied with it every time I use it. We also neatly recessed the top rail through carpentry work to ensure a seamless finish without any unsightly parts.
