It's transparent like glass, so you can see the contents at a glance, but I liked that it's lighter than glass and there's less worry about it breaking. It also has a steam hole on the lid, so it's really convenient when heating things in the microwave.☺️ It seals neatly with an antibacterial silicone gasket, and since it's a modular design where the containers stack neatly, the inside of the refrigerator feels much more organized.
