The holidays are really flying by. Since I haven't fully recovered from a cold yet, I am spending this holiday fully recuperating in my living room, my sanctuary. I find that as long as I have Netflix with me in a space decorated to my taste, I never get bored, even if I stay for a long time. I set a clean base with a white sofa, added an accent with a burgundy single-seater sofa, and the matching rug—a black and white striped pattern mixed with green—seems to go well with the space. Above all, the atmosphere becomes much cozier once the sun sets and I turn on the lights. The ceiling is on the high side, and the moment the soft light spreads through the wide-open space is my favorite moment. I plan to spend the rest of the holiday getting my condition back quickly by becoming one with the sofa while enjoying a warm cup of tea.
