I arranged cute figurines in the empty space. Just casually placing one or two on the counter seems to bring life to the space, which I love. I also prepared to adopt a Tillandsia Tillandsia, and by refurbishing a piece of wooden furniture that was difficult to deal with and placing plants on it, it turned into a rather nice plant stand.
