There was a time when I used to organize diapers neatly. I thought that if I just stacked them neatly in one place, the house would look tidy. However, as the baby started moving around on their own, the living space kept changing, and for tasks performed several times a day, I realized that "convenient movement" was more important than "pretty organization." A few seconds to go get a diaper, a few seconds to look for wet wipes... these are truly small moments, but when repeated every day, they drain a parent's energy. So, our storage standards for home have changed a little. ✔ Keep frequently used items close by ✔ Minimize movement for frequent tasks ✔ Start organizing by creating an easy structure That is why we have diaper storage areas: four in the living room alone, one in the hallway near the kitchen, and one in the baby's room. This is to minimize the time spent moving to retrieve diapers no matter where we change them. Maintaining a home isn't about becoming more diligent, but about creating an environment where you can move with less effort.
